Summary of Incidents Day Shift 7th February 2016

 0748 Hours – Chancery Court, York

 AFA – 1 Crew from Acomb attended. After through investigation, cause unknown.

 1027 Hours – Near High Lions Lodge Track, Yearsley

 Incident involved a dog and deer trapped in mud. Crews from Easingwold and Malton were mobilised to the incident.  Prior to their arrival the dog had managed to get out of the mud, but unfortunately the deer had unfortunately died.  No action by the Fire Service.

 1109 Hours – Peppermill Court, Ramsay Close, York

 Automatic Fire Alarm – York Crews attended, cause fault on system.

 1122 Hours – Outside Aygill Farm, Angram Lane, Keld, Richmond

 Tractor Fire outside Farm, Fire Crew from Hawes attended. incident involved 100% fire damage to the tractor, crews attempted to soak up diesel with drizzit pads.  The cause of the fire was believed to be radiated heat from the exhaust. 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and drizzit pads used.

 1412 Hours – Rear of Woodland Avenue, Woodlands, Scarborough

 Scarborough Crews dealt with a overhanging branch from a tree using a long reach pole.

 1419 Hours – Near Lavender Farm Turnoff, A64 Rillington

 Five vehicle Road Traffic Collision, involving a Mini, Audi, Citroen Bellingo, Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo. One elderly male seriously injured.  All other occupants of vehicles out of vehicles prior to Fire Service arrival, treated at scene by ambulance personnel.  Incident dealt with by Fire Crews from Malton and Sherburn Fire Station.

 1435 Hours – Oak Way, Selby.

 Grill Pan Fire, Selby Fire Crew removed pan to open air. Fire caused 100% fire damage to contents of grill pan, 50% smoke damage to the kitchen and 10% heat and fire damage to the top oven. Smoke alarms were fitted and did actuate.
