Round up of Incidents for – Night Shift 11th April

1748 Hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Belle Vue Mills, Skipton.

Skipton Crew attended.  The alarm was actuating on the stairwell, the cause of the Alarm was a fault on the system.

1824 Hours – Chimney Fire, Main Road, Temple Hirst, Selby

Two Crews from Selby attended. Upon arrival crews found there wasn’t a chimney fire the cause of excessive smoke was from burning wood and paper.

1919 Hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Care Home, Maison Dieu, Richmond

Richmond Crew attended. Cause of Alarm sounding insects in the detector.

0406 Hours – Flooding in Premises, Alexandra Way, Richmond

Richmond Crew attended, small leak in premises affecting carbon minoxide detector. Crews silenced alarm and advised occupier to contact Council later that morning.

0525 Hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Premises, North Moor, Wykeham, Scarborough.

Scarborough Crew attended.  Cause of alarm faulty equipment.
