False Alarm – The Waterfront, Selby

Time of call: 1827 hours

Crews from Selby responded to a call stating that a light sensor had melted due to a suspected fire at a property at The Waterfront in Selby. They found this to be a false alarm due to an overheating control sensor.

Fire – Main Street, Wheldrake, York

Time of call: 1918

Crews from York and Acomb attended a property on Main Street following sightings of smoke in the store room. Crews found that there had been a fire caused by an accumulation of fruit under the chiller.

False Alarm – Stirling Road, York

Time of call: 2052 hours

Crews from Huntington responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a property on Stirling Road. They found this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

False Alarm – Wooler Street, Scarborough

Time of call: 2233 hours

A crew from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a property on Wooler Street. They found that this was a false alarm due to deliberate damage to a break glass point.

Fire – Fisher Gardens, Briggate, Knaresborough

Time of call: 2241 hours

Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough responded to calls of smoke issuing from a property on Fisher Gardens. They found that this was due to a pan being left unattended on a hob. The kitchen was heavily smokelogged. Crews ventillated property.

RTC – A1 Southbound between Junction 47 and Junction 46

Time of call: 2248 hours

Crews from Harrogate and Boroughbridge were called to a single vehicle collision. They found that one male in his 50s was being treated by paramedics so crews made vehicle safe and moved it to the hard shoulder.

False Alarm – Garrowby Way, Heslington

Time of call: 0228

A crew from York attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

False Alarm – Main Street, Seamer, Scarborough

Time of call: 0432

A crew from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.
