RTC, A64 Fulford

Time of Call:  16:05

At 16:05 Fire Control received a report of a road traffic collision on the A64 west bound carriageway with a person trapped.  Fire engines were sent from Acomb and Hutington.  On arrival crews found one casualty had already been released but one femaled was trapped in the rear of the vehicle.  Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment and stabilisation equipment used.

The female was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure with possible neck injury.
