Serious Road Traffic Collision - A64 Flaxton

9th April 2015

Location: A64, Flaxton

Time: 2036 hours

Fire engines from York, Huntington and Acomb along with an Incident Support Unit from Malton have been called to assist at a serious road traffic collison involving a double decker bus, an ambulance and a car on the A64 near the Flaxton junction. 

There were 15 passengers on the bus. All received a check over by fire crews and paramedics on scene. 4 have been taken to hospital, along with the driver, for further treatment.

The 2 occupants of the car were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Fire crews have now left the incident with the Police.
