Shed Fire - Langwith Stray, Heslington

Location: Langwith Stray, Heslington

At 2149 hours the Fire Service were called to a shed on fire in the Langwith Stray area of Heslington.  A fire crew from York Fire Station attended.  The shed was of a wooden construction measuring approximately 7 metres by 5 metres. The shed stored vending machines for local fishermen.  The shed was completely destroyed by fire.  Crews used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.  The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
