Please see below a round up of incidents from Saturday 19th August Night Shift

Time 1803 – Wiggington Road, York

At the request of the RSPCA, York crew assisted in the rescue of a cat after it had become trapped on a roof. Ladders used.

Time 2326 – Lyell Street, Scarborough

Scarborough crew extinguished a rubbish fire in an alleyway. Hose reels used.

Time 2357 – Hambleton Close, Easingwold

Easingwold crew released 2 persons after they had become locked in a bedroom due to a faulty door lock. Small tools used.

Time 0042 – Queen Street, York

York crew rescued a male after he had become trapped between a car and a wall. Crew power used only.

In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in York, Selby and Whitby.  All were false alarms.
