Summary of Incidents –   27th March, Day Shift

Toc: 0958 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Church Lane, Ripon

Ripon Crew attended.  Cause of alarm Cooking Fumes.

Toc:  1226 hours, Horse stuck in fencing, Limestone Road, Burniston

Scarborough Crew and Specialist Animal Rescue equipment from Malton attended. One horse released from the fence prior to Fire Service arrival, was laid on the ground suffering from fatigue.  Fire Crews helped the horse to its feet.

Toc:  1346 hours, Horse caught in barbed wire fencing, Nether Poppleton

Acomb Crew attended, the horse was caught in barbed wire fencing, crews led it to safety.

Toc:  1627 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Heslington Court, Heslington

York Crews attended.  No alarm sounding at the premises.
