Tractor Fire - Wheldrake

Location: Broad Highway, Wheldrake 

Time: 0852 hours

Fire engines from Acomb and York have been called to deal with a fire involving a tractor towing a trailer of baled straw.

The fire is believed to have started overnight and was discovered, still smouldering, this morning by the owner.

There was 100% fire damage to the tractor, trailer and baled straw.

The cause is unknown at this time and fire crews used 1 hosereel.
