Glasshouses Mill, Glasshouses  Time 09:19

Black Labrador called Jess needed rescuing after falling into an iced over lake. Crews from Ripon were able to lift Jess out and she was then taken to a nearby vet for precautionary checks.

York Road, Acomb  Time 10:28

Crews from York and Acomb attended a building where a smoke was seen coming from a boiler room. When the crews arrived they confirmed there was no fire and believed the smoke to have come from a faulty electrical appliance.

Ryders Wynd, Richmond  Time 14:25

Our Richmond crew attended a fire alarm that was sounding from a property on Ryders Wynd. The crews found a kettle with the base affected by fire, but the fire was out on their arrival. The crews carried out an inspection and gave advice to the occupier.

Sutton Under Whitestonecliffe  Time 16:33

Crews from Thirsk went to reports of fire seen in the open. The crews discovered a small fire that was posing no threat to the surrounding area and allowed it to burn out.

  

In addition to the above incidents our fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls. All were false alarms.
