Female released from car after RTC, Brompton, Northallerton

Location: Station Road, Brompton, Northallerton

Fire crews from Northallerton attended a two car RTC involving an Audi and a Ford Mondeo. The male drivers of both vehicles were neither hurt, nor trapped. However, a female, aged approximately 50 years, was released by fire crews from the Audi, via a side removal effected by use of hydraulic cutting equipment. The female was transported to hospital by ambulance suffering spinal and neck injuries, as a precautionary measure only. The release took approximately 30 minutes.
