North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (NYFRS) invites the public to come and see Watch Manager Ian Perkins in Helmsley.  Ian will be in the market place on Saturday 27th August from 10:00 to 15:00 with the Incident Command Unit to talk to anyone interested in becoming an “On Call firefighter”.
 Ian will be able to discuss all aspects of what it takes to become an on call firefighter, whether it be the pay, training, commitment or the rewards that money can’t buy through helping your community.
