RTC, A64 westbound near Tadcaster

Location:  A64 westbound carriageway between Bilborough and Tadcaster

Fire Control received a call at 08:56 to reports of a vehicle that had come off the road, hit an exit sign and landed on its roof.  Three fire engines and an officer were sent to the incident  On arrival the FB removed the side of the peugeot 207 and extricated one female using hydraulic cutting equipment, the lady was then transported to hospital via air ambulance.
