Public Consultation Richmond DistrictCommunity Safety Proposals - Public Invited to Comment
As part of the latest Community Safety proposals consultation process, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are holding public meetings throughout the Richmondshire District during September.
These meetings will give members of the public the opportunity to have their say on the latest Community Safety proposals for 2007/2008.
The dates of these meetings are:
Chief Fire Officer Nigel Hutchinson says "Each year we analyse the performance and efficiency of our service. Public opinion and expectations are an important part of this process. Our objectives are to ensure the Service operates in an effective and efficient manner, in line with Government targets and initiatives." He continues "We invite all sections of the Community to take part in the consultation process. This is particularly important as we propose further improvements to the service, ensuring that the service we provide meets public expectations." No booking is necessary, members of the public are invited to attend their nearest Fire Station to take part in the consultation process.
