Charity Cheque Presentation 25th Jan 2007Cheque Presentation DATE: 25/01/2007 North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are holding a cheque presentation on Monday 29th January 2007 at 3pm at Harrogate Fire Station, and invite you to attend. The cheque for £5300 will be presented to the Local Chairman of the National Fire Service Benevolent Fund, Deputy Chief Fire Officer Chris Anderson. The money was raised through a Christmas Carol Concert which was held at the Harrogate International Conference Centre, on Sunday 17th December 2006. The concert was arranged by Bruce Reid, who is a Crew Manager based at Harrogate Fire Station. Bruce says: "It was a fantastic evening, great fun for the whole family and it's helped raise money for a great cause." The concert saw music being provided by the Harrogate Brass Band, West Yorkshire Fire Service's Military and Pipe Bands, Lucy Rhodes (Andrew Lloyd Weber acclaimed Singer) and The St John Fisher School Choir. There will be an opportunity for photographs at the Cheque Presentation.
