North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have attended numerous flooding incidents across the county due to the heavy rainfall. Since 8:30am the Fire Service have attended/ are attending incidents in the following areas:

10:55               Broughton Road Skipton                    2 people rescued from vehicle stuck in floodwater

11:42               Thirsk Road Easingwold                     Flooding in property

11:45               Oaktree Avenue Scotton Colburn      Flooding in premises

11:54               Boldbenture Skipton                           Flooding in cellar of property

12:10               Airton, Settle                                       Flooding affecting property

We would ask people to drive carefully in these conditions, and to adhere to signs warning of floods.
