Incident information for the same time period, by fire station can be viewed here.

Our incidents fall into the following groups; fire, special service, false alarms.

1. Fires

Primary Fire - includes all fires in buildings, vehicles and most outdoor structures or any fire involving casualties, rescues or fires attended by five or more fire engine.

Secondary fires- these are smaller fires, like grass, bin or rubbish fires

2. Special Service

These are non-fire incidents and include things like road traffic collisions, people locked in or out, lift rescues etc.

3. False Alarms

Malicious False Alarms - this is when people deliberately call about false or fictitious incidents

Good Intent False Alarms - calls made in good faith in the belief that there is an incident.

False Alarm due to Apparatus - when an automated fire alarm (AFA) goes off (in non-domestic premises), but there is no actual fire
