07:49 A1(M) S J48 to J48 – Crews from Boroughbridge, Harrogate and Wetherby responded to a report of a single vehicle RTC. The vehicle was on its roof when crews arrived. All occupants were out of the vehicle. Crews worked to make the scene safe
10:07 A167, Little Smeaton- Crew from Northallerton responded to a van on fire in the Little Smeaton area. They used 2 Breathing apparatus and 1 Hose reel jet to extinguish.
11:18 Scarborough- Crew from Scarborough responded to 2 people trapped in a lift. They used lift keys and crew power to release them.
12:00 A64 Bilbrough to Copmanthorpe- Crews from Tadcaster, Acomb and Huntington responded to reports of a vehicle fire on the A64. On arrival this was found to be well alight. They used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and drizzit pads to extinguish.
12:03 Scott Road, Selby- Crew from Selby responded to reports of a bin on fire. They used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish.
13:28 Beck hole road, Goathland- Crews from Goathland, Whitby and Lythe attended a fire on the railway embankment in Goathland. This had been caused by sparks from a passing train. There were two seats to the fire measuring 30 x 3 metres and 20 x 2 metres. Crews used a light portable pump, 45mm jet, 1 branch, 5 backpack sprayers and 6 beaters to extinguish.
13:43 Preston under scar- Crew from Leyburn responded to reports of a small fire in the open near a railway line. This was an area measuring 20 x 5 metres. Crews damped down using one hose reel jet.
15:36 Cowling, Keighley- Crew from Skipton responded to reports of a vehicl fire. This turned out to be caused by an overheating battery. Crew used small tools to disconnect the battery and left the vehicle with the owner awaiting recovery.
