Incident Summary Friday 30th July 2021 – Night Shift

In order to ensure people are not identifiable from our incident round up we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages where incidents have occurred

Blossom Street, York
Time of call: 1853
York and Acomb attended a small fire to a kitchen toaster in a block of flats. On arrival crews confirmed the fire was out, carried out an inspection and gave advice to residents.

St Andrews Road, Whitby
Time of call: 2139
Crews assisted paramedics with transferring a female patient with a pelvic injury from a domestic property to an ambulance. Female was then taken to hospital for further treatment.

Albion Road, Scarborough
Time of call: 2302
Scarborough assisted with reports of water entering a building and affecting the electrics. Crews confirmed water was entering the building due to blocked guttering and created a relief hole. Water was not affecting the electrics so advice was given to contact a tradesperson.

 

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service attended a number of automatic fire alarms in Kirkby Malzeard, Dunnington, Filey, Scarborough and York. All of these activations were false alarms due to system/detector head faults.
