Incident Summary Day Shift Thursday 4th November 2021

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

09:24 – Westgate, Ripon – Crew were mobilised to a premises with a water leak affecting electrics. crews isolated water and pumped water from basement.

10:21 – Romanby Road, Northallerton – Crew were mobilised to release 1 person who was confined in a lift. Crews stood by whilst person was released by lift engineer.

12:24 – Bell Busk, Skipton – crew were mobilised to a report of an alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.

12:33 – Dragon Parade, Harrogate – Crew were mobilised to a report of a residential fire in a property. This was caused by radiated heat from a log burner igniting nearby fire lighters. Light smoke damage to property and fire damage to hearth only. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.

13:21 – Dunnington, York – Crew were mobilised to assist carers to pick a fallen male from the floor due to carers not being trained in lifting and no ETA for an ambulance.

13:39 – Knaresborough – crew were mobilised to assist ambulance in freeing an Ambulance stuck at the bottom of a muddy track.

15:22 – Red Lane, Masham – Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to steam.
