08:00, Wreyfield Drive, Newby, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a domestic property with no response. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.
10:12, Riverside Gardens
A crew from Acomb responded to requests from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to gain entry to a property for a medical emergency. On arrival, entry had already been made and no action was taken by the fire service.
10:42, Garbutt Lane, Swainby
A crew from Stokesley responded to a fire alarm sounding in a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by dust in the detector head.
10:42, Prospect View, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton responded to reports of smoke issuing from a consumer board in a domestic property. This was a false alarm with good intent, due to an overheated consumer board. Crews isolated the electricity only.
13:11, Leeds Road, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to a fire alarm sounding in a domestic property. This was a false alarm with an unknown cause.
13:36, Manham Hill, Eastfield, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding in a residential building with no response. This was a false alarm cause by a fault on the system.
13:40, St Marys Walk, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service, to assist with moving a patient. Crews used crewpower only to assist.
15:26, King Edwards Drive, Harrogate
A crew Harrogate responded to reports of a lit cigarette dropped into a charity clothes bin. The fire was out on arrival. Crews used a thermal imaging camera and 1 hose reel jet to investigate.
16:40, Badger Butt Lane to Eshton Road, Eshton
A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by steam in a sensor.
