17:14 Low Meadow, Selby

Crews from Selby responded to a small fire in an alley way consisting of cardboard and garden waste. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish.

18:59 Station Lane, Naburn.

York crews attended a small fire involving grassland. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish.

19:22 Bawtry Road, Selby.

Selby crews assisted a young child with their foot stuck in a shopping trolley. Crews used spreaders to free the child.

19:36 Harwood Dale, Scarborough

Scarborough crew attended a large muck heap farm that was caused by a controlled burn that spread to the muck heap. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and requested a second appliance for water.

20:15 Keld Close, Scarborough. 

Crews attended a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

20:38 Hempbridge Road, Selby. 

Crews attended a chimney fire confined to the hearth. This was out on arrival. Crews cleared the debris from the wood burner and checked over using a thermal imaging camera.

21:36 The Crescent, Selby

Crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a property. This was a false alarm caused by Dust.

22:02 Lawrence Street, York

Crews attended a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

02:21 The Crescent, Selby.

Crews assisted Police with reports of a male sighted on a roof, after a full search no male was located.
