Willowgate, Pickering
Time of call: 0807
An appliance from Pickering were mobilised to assisted with an elderly female who had fallen in her property. Crews assisted a first responder in lifting the female back into bed and she was left with carers.
Berrys Avenue, Knaresborough
Time of call: 0912
Knaresborough attended a distressed male who had accidentally locked himself inside his property. Crews released male and gave advice.
Scarborough Fire Station
Time of call: 1033
A female called into Scarborough fire station to request a ring removal. Crews safely cut 1 ring from her finger and gave advice.
West Harlsey
Time of call: 1044
Northallerton and Ripons animal rescue unit attended an incident involving a horse with its foot trapped in the base of a lorry. Crews released the horse using hydraulic spreaders and left in the horse in the care of a vet and its owner.
Felixkirk
Time of call: 1312
Appliances from Thirsk and Northallerton attended a fire involving a wedding marquee measuring 25m x 15m. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and small tools to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service also attended automatic fire alarm activations in Tadcaster, Skipton, York, Stokesley and Scarborough. All of these activations were false alarms.
