To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Maltongate, Thornton -Le- Dale – 09:58

Crews from Pickering and Malton responded to a cooker fire in a residential property. The fire was out on arrival and crews isolated the cooker and inspected. Crews used small tools and a thermal imaging camera.

Townend Street, York – 11:27

Crews from York and Huntington responded to a stove fire in the kitchen of a residential property. The fire was out on arrival and crews ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Station Avenue, Filey – 14:19

Scarborough crews attended a small fire by the roadside, crews extinguished using a bucket of water.

Valley Bridge Parade, Scarborough – 16:04

Crews from Scarborough responded to calls of a fire in the open, this was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

Haig Gardens, Selby – 16:08

Selby crews assisted paramedics with moving a patient from a residential property to an ambulance, the patients was left in the care of paramedics and transported to hospital.

Crews from Thirsk, York and Acomb responded to automatic fire alarm activations, these were all false alarms.
