Day Shift Tuesday 21st March

0720   Harome, Helmsley – Crews assisted an Ambulance crew with lifting and carrying a patient after a medical issue.

0854   Catterick Garrison – Crews from Richmond and Leyburn attended a 2-vehicle road traffic collision. No persons were trapped, crews made the vehicles and the scene safe.

1143   Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough – A fire in a small rubbish bin was extinguished by a Scarborough crew using a hose reel. The cause was believed accidental.

1535   North Rigton – Crews from Harrogate attended a road traffic collision involving 2 cars.  No persons were trapped and crews gave first aid to casualties before handing them over to the Ambulance Service.  Our crews also made the scene safe.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Harrogate (x 2), York and Selby.  All were false alarms.
