18:18 Small fire – Northallerton Road, Bedale
A crew from Bedale has been called to reports of a small rubbish fire in the open. Crew used 1 hosereel jet to extinguish. The cause is believed to be controlled burning left unattended.
20:20 False alarm – Royal Albert Drive, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough has investigated reports of a fire in the open. This was a barbecue under supervision. No action taken.
20:49 Small fire – Halfpenny Close, Knaresborough
A crew from Knaresborough has been called to a wheelie bin on fire in the open. Crew used a knapsack sprayer and buckets of water to extinguish. The cause is believed to be deliberate.
21:13 Rescue – Danebury Drive, York
A crew from Acomb has been called to assist a male who was unable to get out of the bath. Crew power only used.
23:23 False alarm – Cayton, Scarborough.
Scarborough crews attended a domestic property to investigate reports of an overheated alarm panel. Crews inspected panel and no fire was involved. Crews gave advice to occupier and removed a fuse.
23:53 False alarm – Thirsk.
Thirsk crews attended a smoke alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by a fault.
00:31 Assist Ambulance – Walmgate, York.
York crews attended a domestic property to assist Ambulance crews to gain entry to a property. On arrival Fire Service attendance was not required.
00:50 Garage fire – Hambleton, Selby.
Selby crews attended a fire involving a detached domestic garage.
01:06 False alarm – Risedale Drive, York.
Acomb crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm.
01:41 Assist Ambulance – Castle Road, Scarborough
Scarborough crews assisted Ambulance crew to gain entry to a domestic property to access a patient.
03:17 Assist Ambulance – Hutton Conyers
A crew from Ripon has been called to gain entry to a domestic property to allow ambulance crew to access a patient. Crew used a lock snapper and small tools.
