18:02 Woodland Ravine, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a male on the wrong side of the railings on a bridge. On the arrival of crews, the male had been assisted to the right side of the railings by a passing member of the public. No action was taken by fire crews and the male was left in the care of the police.
19:00 Castlegate, York
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system. Advice was given to a responsible person.
19:02 Heworth Road, York
A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system. Advice was given to a responsible person.
19:15 Panal Ash Drive, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate attended a residential property where the occupant had concerns regarding bags of grass cuttings that were giving off a lot of heat. Crews removed the bags from the garage into the garden of the property and gave the occupant advice.
19:18 Brimham Rocks Road, Hartwith
A crew from Harrogate responded to a report of smoke seen coming from a field. Crews located the fire and found it to be a false alarm due to controlled burning. The fire was under supervision, crews gave advice to the owners.
19:38 Stony Lane, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of a single vehicle rtc in which the car had gone into a wall. Crews made the vehicle safe and left the female occupant who was out of the vehicle in the care of the police.
19:42 Selby Road, Escrick
A crew from Acomb responded to a report of an electricity pylon that had been struck by lightning. Crews located an electricity pylon and transformer that had been struck by lightning and had been on fire. The fire was out on the arrival of fire crews, an inspection only was carried out. Advice was given to a responsible person to await arrival of Northern Power engineers who were aware of the incident.
20:29 Charles Street, Selby
An officer and crew from Selby responded to a report of a cat stuck on the roof of a residential property. Crews rescued the cat from the roof of the 2 storey property and returned it to the care of its owner.
20:49 Rainbow Lane, Malton
A crew from Malton responded to a report of a fire in a playground. On the arrival of crews the fire was out. Crews carried out an inspection and liaised with police due to the deliberate nature of the fire.
23:11 Reighton, Filey
A crew from Filey along with a crew from Bridlington responded to a report of a hay stack on fire. Crews located the hay stack that was well alight and extinguished it using 2 hose reel jets.
00:20 Station Road, Morton on Swale
A crew from Northallerton responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system, advice was given to responsible persons.
00:23 Boroughbridge Road, Ripon
A crew from Ripon responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist with moving a patient from a long boat. Crews assisted to move the casualty into a seated position to allow paramedics to carry out an assessment. Crews liaised with ambulance crews and HART team crews to establish a plan of action. Crews then assisted the casualty from the boat to the pontoon and left them in the care of ambulance crews.

A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.
01:08 Meadowfield, Stokesley
A crew from Stokesley responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist in moving a casualty from their residential property to the ambulance. Crews assisted in lifting the casualty from the floor into a chair. Crews left the casualty in the care of ambulance crews.
01:29 St Nicholas Cliff, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire in a bin. Crews located a large public bin well alight and extinguished it using 1 hose reel jet.
