07:55 – Ascot Way, York
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to burnt toast.
08:07 – Hambleton, Selby
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises.This was a false alarm due to a system fault.
11:33 – Westborough, Scarborough
Crew were mobilised to a report of persons trapped in a lift. Released using lift keys.
11:40 – Copmanthorpe, York
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire involving a charger, with a bedbound person in the premises unable to evacuate. Fire was out on arrival and believed to have been caused by a faulty cable. Crews checked using Thermal imaging camera.
12:16 – Newby, Scarborough
Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke in a premises. On arrival no fire could be found, but a smell of smoke from an unknown cause.
14:02 – Garth Terrace, York
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire in an alleyway. On arrival this was a small amount of cable on fire, extinguished by a local resident. Crews checked and gave advice.
14:19 – Fennell Grove, Ripon
Crews were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.
14:40 – West Moor Road, Raskelf
Crew were mobilised to a report of sparks and flames from a wooden electrical pylon. Fire was out on arrival, crews advised property owner until arrival of National Power Grid.
14:57 – Ashfield road, Castleton, Whitby
Crew were mobilised to a request to assist a Ambulance in removing a casualty from a property. Crews assisted and left in care of Ambulance crews.
15:46 – A59 Draughton
Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire seen in the open. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.
16:14 – Whinny Gill Road, Skipton
Crews were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.
