Incident Bulletin – Tuesday 12th September – Night Shift

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

17:26 – Bridge Street, Whitby

Crews from Whitby and neighbouring appliance Saltburn remained on standby assisting police with a male on roof. Male left in custody of police.

18:47 – Brimham Rocks Road, Summerbridge

Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough responded to reports of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision. Crews assisted with scene safety and the incident was left with police and ambulance on scene.

19:13 – A1 Northbound J47 to J48 Boroughbridge

Ripon crews responded to reports of a car fire on the hard shoulder. This resulted in a false alarm with good intent after further inspection with the cause believed to have been a blown turbo.

Crews from Harrogate, Scarborough, Huntington, Tadcaster, York and Stokesley responded to automatic fire panels sounding. These resulted in false alarms.
