To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.
18:00 – Grosvenor Crescent, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.
19:27 – Weeland Road, Eggborough
Selby crews responded to a van on fire on the A645 East of Eggborough. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to be a mechanical fault in the engine compartment.
19:54 – Beulah Terrace, Scarborough
Scarborough crews assisted paramedics on scene to gain entry into property to reach male within. Crews gained entry using a GAME (Gain Access Medical Emergency) kit and a door enforcer.
20:15 – Flaxley Road, Selby
Selby crew attended a residential property after a report of an alarm sounding. On arrival, crew found the property to be empty. Full external search carried out with no signs of smoke or fire.
21:20 – Low Ousegate, York
York attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival, crew found this to be a false alarm.
23:22 – Beech Grove, Selby
Selby crews assisted ambulance to gain entry into a property via a first floor window. Crews used a triple extension ladder. The male occupant was then assisted into the road ambulance using crew power and taken to hospital.
00:33 – Piercy End, Kirkbymoorside
Kirkbymoorside crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.
02:04 – Swinton, Malton
Malton crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival, crew found this to be a false alarm.
02:11 – Beningbrough
Acomb crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival, crew found this to be a false alarm.
