17:28 Cold Bath Road, Harrogate

Harrogate crew  attended a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm believed to have been caused by cooking fumes

18:16 High Bentham

One of our First responders attended a property to assist with an elderly female having a seizure and requested assistance from Bentham crew. Crews moved the female into a safe position and stood by until arrival of Ambulance crew.

18:18 Brompton by Sawdon, Scarborough

Scarborough crew responded to reports of a fire sighted in the open. On arrival crew confirmed fire involved a small amount of wood. Access for the appliance was too difficult so the crews stood by until the fire had burnt out.

18:29 Near Richmond Castle, Richmond.

Richmond crew attended a skip fire and extinguished the fire using a hose reel.

19:05 Brackenhill Avenue, Selby 

Selby crews attended a fire involving a domestic garage. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault. The fire had been extinguished by a neighbour before arrival of crew. Crews dampened down the area and checked for hotspots.

19:10 Brayton, Selby

Selby crews assisted a male who had fallen over in his property and was unable to be helped up by his wife. Crews lifted him into a comfortable position. He had no injuries.

19:14 Eastfield, Scarborough.

Robin Hoods Bay crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm, unable to determine the cause.

19:42 Lady Ediths Drive, Scarborough

Scarborough crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a public property. This was a false alarm caused by a fault.

20:18 Upper Poppleton, York

Acomb crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused

20:37 Back Gate, Ingleton 

Bentham crews attended a smoke alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm, cause is unknown.

22:41 Heslington York

York crews attended a smoke alarm activation at the University. This was a false alarm, alarm was activated on purpose.

00:50 Elvington, York.

York and Huntington crew responded to reports of a road traffic collision. On arrival incident had been dealt with by Police and Fire Service was not required.

01:07 Kings Road, Harrogate

Harrogate crews attended a smoke alarm activation at a public property. This was a false alarm , the cause was undetermined.

York crews were called to assist the Police with use of tarpaulin. On arrival crews were not required,

04:57 Victoria Avenue, Filey

Scarborough crews assisted Ambulance crew to gain entry to a property to access casualty inside. Crews used a gain kit and gained access. Incident then left in the care of Ambulance crews.

05:37 Scalby Road, Scarborough.

Sherburn crews and swift water rescue crews from Malton and Whitby responded to a car reported to be stuck in deep flood water. On arrival the flood water had subsided and the occupants were out of vehicle. No further action by Fire Service.

Crews from Sherburn are currently assisting several homes affected by floodwater.
