Incident Summary – Wednesday 20th September – Day Shift

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

09:47 – Holgate Road, York

Crews from Acomb and Selby responded to reports of smoke coming from a shower unit. A small fire was discovered out upon arrival within the unit. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to inspect and isolated the electricity.

12:10 – Richmond

Crews from Richmond assisted the ambulance service assisted a casualty into an ambulance using crewpower.

13:41 – A1 South J43 to J42 (A63)

Crews from Tadcaster responded to reports of a car smoking following a single vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival and crews assisted with scene safety.

14:49 – Monk Fryston, Selby

Crews from Selby and Tadcaster responded to a serious road traffic collision on the A63. The incident was left in hands of police and ambulance on scene.

14:53 – Long Street, Easingwold

Crews from Acomb assisted an occupant locked inside a property. Crews used a door entry kit to gain access and left the occupant in care of a neighbour until arrival of the ambulance.

15:32 – Barlby, Selby

Crews from Selby assisted paramedics to gain access into a property to reach a casualty.

16:06 – Beulah Terrace, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough are currently assisting police on scene with a male on the roof. This incident is ongoing.
