08:38, Harrogate

Crew from Harrogate responded to a call about a small fire in an alleyway. Crew investigated and found this to be a false alarm. No fire located.

10:59, Queen Street, Filey

Crew from Filey assisted ambulance crews with a difficult extrication from a property. Crew power only used to lift casualty to waiting ambulance.

11:46, York

Crew from Huntington along with their aerial ladder platform removed a large piece of facia and guttering from a property after it dislodged and was hanging over a footpath.

12:23, Catterick Garrison

Crew from Richmond came across a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. Crews assisted police on the scene by providing first aid to a casualty until the arrival of ambulance. no other action required.

14:22, A1 J42 Sliproad

Crews from Tadcaster and Selby attended a fire to a vehicle being towed by a campervan on the sliproad of the A1. Crews used 1 hose reel jet and 1 breathing apparatus to extinguish. The campervan was unaffected by fire. The car was 100% fire damaged.

 

During the day crews from Whitby and Selby also attended automatic fire alarm activations. These resulted in false alarms.
