19:14 Rubbish fire – Byland Avenue, York
A crew from Huntington has been called to a rubbish fire on a play area. Crew used a bucket of water and a knapsack sprayer to extinguish. The cause is believed to be deliberate.
20:30 False alarm – Otley Road, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.
23:33 Person locked out – Diamond Street, York
A crew from York has gained entry to a residential property after the occupant became locked out and a candle was left unattended inside. Crew used a triple extension ladder to gain entry through an upstairs window.
23:42 False alarm – off Chapel Street, Hillam
A crew from Selby has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a domestic property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system. Advice given.
