08:15 Gain entry – Priory Close, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton has been called to assist a neighbour to gain entry to a domestic property where the resident had fallen from her chair and was unable to get up. Crew gained entry via open window. Occupant left in care of neighbour until arrival of ambulance.
10:01 Rescue – St Nicholas Street, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough has been called to assist an elderly lady who was unable to get out of the bath. Crew power used to transfer female from bath to bedroom. Left in care of son.
11:21 False alarm – Leeds Road, Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to an unknown fault on the system.
11:56 Rescue – Trapping Hill, Lofthouse
A crew from Lofthouse have been called to assist a paraplegic paraolympian in an adapted recumbent bicycle who had overturned while descending a steep hill after the tyre popped off the rim. Crew transferred male to a local farmers vehicle who then returned him to his adapted van. Male then returned to the scene where crew were able to secure his bike in his vehicle.
12:09 False alarm – Burton Salmon
A crew from Selby has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a domestic property. Due to a faulty detector head.
12:27 False alarm – Bishopthorpe Road, York
A crew from Tadcaster has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a test being carried out at the premises.
12:28 False alarm – A1 southbound near Allerton Park
Crews from Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Wetherby have been called to reports of a horse trailer on fire. This was a false alarm due to smoke from an engine fault.
12:32 Fire – The Green, Acomb
Crews from Huntington, Tadcaster and York have dealt with a fire in the basement of a 3 storey domestic property. This resulted in fire, heat and smoke damage to the basement and smoke damage to the remainder of the property. Smoke detectors were fitted, activated and raised the alarm. Crews used 1 hosereel jet, a 45mm hose, 4 breathing apparatus, thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation fans. The cause is believed to be a fault on a dehumidifier.
12:56 False alarm – Stockwell Road, Knaresborough
A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
14:41 Small fire – Osgodby, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough has dealt with a small fire in woodland using a knapsack sprayer. The cause is believed to be a bonfire left unattended.
15:10 Small fire – Castlegate, Malton
A crew from Malton has dealt with a roadside bin on fire. Crew used 1 hose reel jet. the cause is believed to be a discarded light.
15:51 False alarm – Scalby Road, Scarborough
A crew from Scarborough has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to steam from a wall paper stripper.

A crew from York has dealt with a bonfire left unattended in a field. Crew used a knapsack sprayer and buckets of water.
