19:36 York

Crew from York responded to reports of smoke in the area. This was a controlled burn under supervision

19:38 Scarborough

Crew from Scarborough rescued a pigeon from netting on a building. This was found to be a racing pigeon. Owner contacted and arrangements made for collection.

21:41 Whitby

Crew from Whitby responded to reports of a bin on fire. Crew used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish.

 

During the night crews from Acomb, Bedale, Scarborough and Harrogate x2 also attended automatic fire alarm activation’s. These were all false alarms.
