Incident Summary – Day Shift, Saturday 14th September

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time: 07.09  Location: Scarborough

Crews from across the east of the area were called to a report of a fire in a large premises which was thought to be caused by an electrical fault.  The fire was out on the arrival of crews who used a Thermal Imaging Camera to check there were no further hotspots. Two persons were left in the hands of ambulance crews.

Time: 09.57  Location: Pickering

The crew from Malton responded to a report of a small camp fire that was left unattended and was still smoldering.  The fire was extinguished using knapsack sprayers and a hose reel jet.

Time: 10.15  Location: Harrogate 

The crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a tractor that had caught fire on a road.  On arrival of the crews the fire had already been extinguished by the driver.

Time: 11.28  Location:  Knaresborough

The crew from Knaresborough were mobilised to assist our colleagues in the police who needed to gain entry to a property for medical reasons.

Time: 12.21  Location: Northallerton

Crews from Northallerton and Stokesley responded to reports of a collision on the southbound carriageway of the A19.  Crews helped make the scene safe and left the driver in the hands of the Ambulance crew.
