Time: 18:07  Location: York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to an oven fire at a residential property. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.

Time: 18:31  Location: York

Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster responded to smoke logging inside a takeaway. Crews established the cause was hot oil leaking on to an extractor motor which was giving off smoke. The electrics were isolated and advice given.

Time: 19:27 Location: York

Crew from York attended a fire measuring approx 5 x 5 metres in some woodland. Crew extinguished using knapsack sprayers.

Time: 20:56 Location: Welburn

Crew from Helmsley attended a suspected car fire. This was found to be a false alarm caused by smoke from a clutch.

Time: 21:55  Location: Selby

Crew from Selby responded to reports of a boiler on fire in an external plant room. On arrival crews gained entry to the plant room using a hooli tool. They isolated the gas supply to the boiler and gave advice to residents to arrange an engineer to attend. No further action was neccessary.

Time: 00:49  Location: Starbeck

Crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a small fire in a park. On arrival of crews the fire had burnt out. Inspection only carried out.

Time: 05:15  Location: Scarborough

Crew were mobilised to a report of a flooding inside a premises. This was the result of an overflowing bath. Advice given.

Through out the night crews also attended numerous fire alarm actuations which were false alarms.
