A crew from Ripon responded to a report of loose guttering hanging off a commercial property. Crews removed the guttering and gave advice to the occupant.

Time: 19:47  Location: Scarborough 

A crew from Scarborough responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a malicious activation of a break glass point.

Time: 20:10  Location: Easingwold

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a report of an alarm activation in a residential property where there was no response from the occupant. Crews found this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

A crew from York responded to a request for assistance to gain entry from carers who had concerns for the occupant of a residential property. On the arrival of fire service crews, the occupant opened the door and allowed the carers inside. Advice was given to responsible persons.

Acomb and York crew attended an address after the occupant contacted fire control with concerns over their smoke alarm sounding and the lights going off. The crew inspected the house and found a fault on the fuse board. Advice was given for an electrician to attend.
