17:08, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough, Whitby and Malton responded to reports of smoke coming from a flat in a residential building. This was a false alarm caused by smoking materials.

17:49, Whitby

Crews from Whitby and Lythe responded to reports of a fire to a tumble dryer. The fire was out on arrival. Crews removed the dryer to open air, and removed the back panel of the dryer, to inspect. The cause was accidental and there was no damage.

19:28, Selby

A crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire in the open. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

20:04, Harrogate

Crew were mobilised to assist Ambulance crews with a 2 vehicle road traffic collision where a vehicle had come off the road and gone down a banking. Crews assisted 1 driver from vehicle from field and into the care of paramedics.

20:35, York

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to an accidental activation of a callpoint by the occupant.

21:11, Tadcaster

A crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of a fire to a commercial skip, measuring 2n5m by 3m. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause was believed to be deliberate.

21:57, Filey

A crew from Filey responded to reports of a wheelie bin on fire. The fire was out on arrival. Crews damped down using a hose reel jet.

22:33, York

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a male who had fallen in a property. Crews carried out a full search of the property, but found no person present.

03:01, Ripon

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
