12:57, Leyburn
Crews from Leyburn and Bedale responded to reports of a tree which had fallen onto two propane gas tanks, containing 2250L, and unseating one of the tanks. Staff had isolated the gas. Crews cordoned off the tanks and carried out an inspection. Following discussions with the hazardous materials officer, advice was given to the responsible person.
12:59, York
Crews from York and Acomb responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision, where a kia picanto had impacted road furniture. Crews administered oxygen to the driver, who was taken to hospital via road ambulance.
13:58, Northallerton
A crew from Northallerton responded to reports of a smoke alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, caused by testing of the alarm.
14:29, Malton
Crews from, York and Acomb responded to reports of smoke issuing from a Mercedes. This was a false alarm with good intent, caused by a blown turbo.
14:33, York
Crews from Selby and Tadcaster responded to reports of a gas pipe which had accidentally had a nail put through it. Crews isolated the gas and electric and ventilated the property.
14:43, Lythe
A crew from Lythe responded to reports of a smoke alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by steam from an iron.
