A crew from Richmond responded to a request for assistance from ambulance crews to gain access to a property so that they could reach a casualty. Crews used triple extension ladders and salvage sheets to assist the paramedics over locked gates and into the property where they were able to then open the gates. The incident was left in the hands of ambulance crews.

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a report of an alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from ambulance crews to assist with moving a casualty from their residential property into an ambulance. Crews assisted paramedics to lift the casualty out of the property using crew power and an ambulance chair.

A crew from Summerbridge responded to a report of a climber who had become stuck approximately 1m from the top of a rock after their arm got trapped in a crevice. Mountain rescue crews assisted the climber off the rock and no fire service action was required.

A crew from Acomb responded to a report of a vehicle smoking. On arrival crews found this to be a false alarm due to oil leaking from the engine. Crews gave advice and left the incident with the vehicle owner.
