Time: 07:30 Location: Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough and Sherburn responded to a road traffic collision involving one car with the driver inside. Crews used hydraulic cutting gear and small tools to release the casualty who was handed over to paramedics for treatment. Incident was left in the hands of police.
Time: 08:36 Location: York
A crew from York responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. This was caused by steam from the shower and confirmed a false alarm. Advice given to responsible person.
Time: 08:43 Location: Whitby
A crew from Whitby responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. After an inspection, this was confirmed a false alarm due to a fault on the alarm system.
Time: 09:28 Location: Harrogate
A crew from Harrogate responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. This was caused by workmen and confirmed a false alarm. Advice given.
Time: 13:51 Location: York
A crew from York responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building. This was caused by dust and confirmed a false alarm.
Time: 14:03 Location: Settle
A crew from Hawes responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision where the car had rolled over after the driver lost control. The driver was out prior to crews arrival and refused the attendance of an ambulance. Crews stabilised the vehicle and assisted police with traffic management. The driver made arrangements to return home after receiving first aid from the fire crew.

A crew from Scarborough released two people trapped inside the lift of a residential building.
Time: 16:54 Location: Ripon
A crew from Ripon responded to a fire sighted in some woodland. This was caused deliberately. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
