A crew from Boroughbridge responded to reports of a fire sighted from the A1. This was a false alarm with good intent. No fire was located after a thorough search.
17:50, York
A crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of a 3 vehicle road traffic collision. All persons were out on arrival. Crews made the scene safe using small tools.
18:42, York
Crew from Acomb and York responded to reports of a vehicle on fire, following a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident. Crews monitored the batteries of the electric vehicle and extinguished the fire.

A crew from Northallerton responded to a request from North Yorkshire Police to swill the roadway down, after 2 buffalo were hit by 2 cars. Crews used a hose reel jet. No persons were harmed at this incident.
