Time: 18:38   Location: York

A crew form York responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision where a vehicle had impacted a tree. The driver had minor injuries and was in are of paramedics prior to crew arrival. Crews made the scene safe using small tools.

Time: 18:41   Location: Scarborough

Both crews from Scarborough responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision with one vehicle on its roof. The driver was assisted from the vehicle using a longboard after crews used stabilization and cutting gear to make the vehicle safe. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries by a family member.

Time: 19:12   Location: Colburn

A crew from Colburn responded to a person trapped inside a public toilet. This was due to a fault door mechanisms. Crews released the occupant using small tools.

Time: 19:38   Location: Skipton

A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a possible chimney fire. After a full inspection, no chimney fire was located.

Time: 20:00   Location: Northallerton

Crews from Northallerton, Stokesley and neighbouring appliance Thornaby responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision off the A19 Northbound. Two occupants were in care of police and believed to be uninjured. Crews assisted with scene safety.

Time: 21:36   Location: Sherburn in Elmet

Crews from Tadcaster and neighbouring brigade appliance Pontefract responded to reports of a fire in the open. A fire was located in a field and extinguished by crews using one hose reel jet.

Time: 23:20    Location: Scarborough

Scarborough crews assisted paramedics at a residential property with casualty care using crew power.

Time: 00:23   Location: A1 N, Leeming Bar

Bedale, Colburn and Richmond appliances responded to a van on fire at J51 on the A1. The vehicle was extinguished using two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus and foam. The cause was accidental due to a fault in the engine compartment.

Time: 06:24  Location: York

A crew from York responded to a road traffic collision involving a car, bus and cyclist. All persons were safe and well and in care of ambulance staff. Crews made vehicles safe and left incident in hands of police.

Crews from York (x2), Skipton, Richmond, Selby and Scarborough attended activated fire alarms inside residential and commercial buildings. These were all confirmed false alarms.
