17:20, Selby
Crew from Selby and Tadcaster responded to reports of a fire in a residential kitchen. The fire began when an item on the hob ignited. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The damage caused was approx 75% fire damage to the kitchen and smoke damage throughout the property.
19:43, Harrogate
Crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a water leak in a property. Crew located a small leak from a toilet cistern. Advice given to occupier.
20:42, Selby
Crew from Selby responded to reports of a person in the canal at Selby. Crew used crew power only to lift person from water. First aid given until arrival of ambulance. Casualty left in care of paramedics.
20:45, York
Crew from Acomb responded to reports of 2 people stuck in a lift. Crew made contact with occupants of the lift and established the emergency stop button had been pressed. Crews gave advice to occupants on how to release the brake which allowed the lift to be lowered and the occupants released.

Crew from York attended a property where a water leak was causing water ingress in the flat below. Crew isolated the water supply to the leak via the isolation valve. Advice given.

Crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a small fire under a street lamp. On arrival this was found to be a small pile of rubbish on fire. Crew extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.

Crew from Easingwold attended a single vehicle road traffic accident involving a car into a tree. The driver was out on arrival of crews who administered first aid. Incident then left in hands of police awaiting arrival of ambulance.
During the night crews from Selby and York responded to automatic fire alarm activations. These resulted in false alarms.
