07:49, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, caused by an activation of a manual call point.

 

10:11, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to gain entry to a property, where a patient had fallen behind the door, blocking access for paramedics. Crews used a gain kit to gain entry to the property.

12:25, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a water leak in a restaurant, thought to be coming from the flat above. The leak was coming from an unknown source, but subsided whilst crews were investigating. No action was required by the fire service.

15:06, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate released 2 persons from a lift using lift keys.

15:10, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a skip on fire on the driveway of a residential property. The fire was confined to a skip, and measured approximately 5m squared. The cause was believed to be a discarded light.

16:11, Skipton

A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a fire to a Range Rover. Crews are using 2 breathing apparatus, and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The fire is now extinguished; crews are still on scene.

16:14, Selby

Crews from Selby and Tadcaster, along with the water bowser, responded to reports of a fire to a barn, measuring 10m by 15m, containing hay. Crews are currently extinguishing multiple seats of fire, using a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus. The fire is now extinguished; crews are still on scene.
