Incident Summary Night Shift 20th December 2024

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

Time: 17:59   Location: Rillington

Malton crew attended a 2 vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a van. Crews assisted police with traffic management and making the seen safe, by moving the vehicles to a safe location.

Time: 20:15   Location: Wighill

Tadcaster crew responded to a baby locked in a bathroom. Crew gained entry to the bathroom using a triple extension ladder and window punch.

Time: 21:28   Location: Scarborough

Scarborough crew assisted paramedics with moving a patient up a difficult flight of stairs. Crews used a long board to transport the male casualty into the back of an ambulance.

Time: 01:55   Location: A1 Catterick

Crew were mobilised to a report of a single vehicle RTC due to a vehicle swerving to avoid an animal and leaving the road. Crews assisted Ambulance crews to move patient from vehicle to Ambulance using crewpower and spine board.

Time: 04:17   Location: Selby

Crew were requested to assist Ambulance crews with a difficult extrication of a patient from a premises into Ambulance. Crewpower used.
