08:14 York

Crew from York assisted ambulance crews with the difficult extrication of a casualty from a property. Crew power and stretcher used to lift casualty to waiting road ambulance.

09:33 Ripon

Crew from Ripon assisted ambulance crews with a casualty who had fallen and become stuck between a bed and a wardrobe. Crew power only used to lift casualty on to a chair and left in care of paramedics.

14:02 Northallerton

Crew from Northallerton assisted a member of the public who attended the station with a ring stuck on their finger. Ring cutters used to remove the ring.

15:34 York

Crew from Acomb responded to reports of a car on fire at a garage. On arrival crew located the vehicle. The fire had started in the engine bay and had been extinguished by staff using dry powder extinguishers. Crew then used 1 hose reel jet to dampen down.

 

During the day crew from Malton responded to  an automatic fire alarm activation. This resulted in a false alarm.
