To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

It’s been a steady day for fire crews across North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service today which has enabled many of the crews to perform safety initiatives and training exercises. Scarborough crew have been out and about all day training on their aerial ladder platform and Tadcaster crew have been actively out and about performing proactive home fire safety visits in their local area. Amongst other activities across the county, Fire Control have been having one of their organised training days learning about new technology coming into Control and refreshing their skills in other areas.
